LDN

I have a confession for you - I really didn't know how to start this post. And to be quite honest, I didn't even want to write it because it feels somewhat unfair. Why?

A couple of days ago, my country, as well as some neighbor countries, were hit by a terrible cyclone which caused horrifying floods. Thousands of people were evacuated and many, many of them lost their loved ones, their homes, their pets. Can you imagine working your whole life to provide your family a safe place they can call home and it's all gone within minutes?
Even my city was flooded and you see this place where these pictures were taken? Well, it was full of water which you can clearly see on the video here. Thankfully, the level of the river which flows through my town decreased and we are finally safe. However, many of our neighbor cities weren't that lucky.

The evacuation process is still in progress. Local Red Crosses collect water, clothes, food, sanitizers and toys for the people who were evacuated and are now moved to sports halls all over the country. I did my best and gave a lot of my warm clothes, water and food, hoping it will be helpful.

When such natural disasters happen, people unite and become one. In situations like this one we prove that we know what the gist of human being is - to be humane, to help the others and support them. Thanks to many world countries, my country and our neighbors are getting the help they need, which is another great step for our civilization.
Nevertheless, the purpose of this post was to produce something positive. The material consequences of this disaster will be enormous, which is why we still need every cent, every dollar. If you can help, please feel free to do it. You can donate to the following government bank accounts and help the ones who really need it and make their future less painful.
